The West Rebels got the win against the Belfry Pirates  on Saturday by a conclusive  13-4.
 Simon Zomchick looked comfortable as he  struck out six batters over  four innings while giving up just one earned  (and two unearned) runs off   five  hits.

 At the plate,  Mason Dugan and  Will Lenczynski did most of the damage at the plate:  Dugan  scored three  runs and  stole four bases while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances, while  Lenczynski  got on base  in three of his four plate appearances with one  home run, two  stolen bases,  and two  runs. West is undefeated when  Lenczynski posts two or  more  runs, but 8-9 otherwise.  West  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .562. They are  a perfect 5-0 when  they post an OBP of .513 or better.
West's win bumped their record up to 12-9. As for Belfry, their loss  ended  a  six-game streak of away wins  dating back to last season and  brought them to 7-2.
 Looking ahead, West will be playing in front of their home fans against Heritage  at 6:30  p.m.  on Monday. Heritage will roll in looking for their  seventh straight  victory, something West surely won't give up without a fight. As for Belfry, they will head out to  face off against Mingo Central  at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
