Overton typically has all the answers at home, but  on Monday Mount Juliet proved too difficult a challenge. They put the hurt on the Bobcats with a sharp  16-1 victory. Considering the Golden Bears have won 20 matches by more than five  runs this season, Monday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Jewel Hale tossed a big game,   not allowing a single  earned run and  allowing only two  hits while striking out eight over five innings pitched.
 On the hitting side,  the team  relied heavily on  Anabella Brewer, who  went a perfect 3-for-3 with one  home run, three  RBI,  and two  runs. That's the most  hits  she has posted since back in March.  Annalise Mecklenberg was another key player,  going 3-for-4 with three  RBI, two  runs,  and one  double.
 Mount Juliet  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .583. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Overton only posted  an  OBP of  .167.
Mount Juliet's record now sits at 30-11-1. As for Overton, their defeat  ended  an  eight-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 14-6.
As of now, neither Mount Juliet nor the Bobcats have any future games scheduled.
