The West Holmes Knights will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Triway Titans at 7:30 p.m. The timing isn't great for West Holmes: they have been struggling with 16 straight losses at home dating back to last season, while the Titans have snatched up four consecutive wins on the road.
West Holmes pushed their score all the way to 60 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell to Mansfield Senior 65-60. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Tuesday (56), West Holmes still had to take the loss.
In what's become a running theme this season, Triway gave their fans yet another huge win on Friday. They took their game on the road with ease, bagging a 58-19 win over Tuslaw. Given Triway's advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 156th, while the Mustangs are ranked 796th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
West Holmes' defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Triway, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.
