The Alliance Christian Gryphons lost against the High Point Baptist Academy Eagles back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Alliance Christian had to suffer through a rough 68-32 loss at the hands of High Point Baptist Academy. Alliance Christian was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 44-19.
High Point Baptist Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Nehemiah Seifert, who scored 18 points. Those 18 points set a new season-high mark for him. Carlos Torres was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Alliance Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for High Point Baptist Academy, their win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-1.
Alliance Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Linville Hill at 7:00 p.m. on January 5, 2024. As for High Point Baptist Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Lancaster County Christian at 8:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Lancaster County Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine on Wednesday.
