Makayla Van Dinther was a major factor no matter where she played. She struck out nine batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one RBI. Those three hits gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Addison Wolf, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and two RBI.
