Harrisburg can now show off five landslide victories after their most recent matchup last Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 70-48 margin over Fulton. Given Harrisburg's advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 203rd, while Fulton is ranked 423rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, even though Macon scored an imposing 69 points on Thursday, Marshall still came out on top. Marshall skirted past Macon 71-69. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win Marshall has posted yet this season.
Marshall's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Chase Thompson, who scored 18 points along with three steals. Thompson hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Brody Kueker, who scored 15 points along with four steals.
Harrisburg now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Marshall, their win bumped their record up to 5-9.
