Two dominant backs in Ollie Howell and Bronson Carroll are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The West Point Warriors will head out on the road to square off against the Priceville Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.
West Point lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Hayden, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Friday's matchup. The Warriors blew past the Wildcats, posting a 42-12 win. The Warriors' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
West Point can attribute much of their success to Ayden Ennis, who threw for 182 yards and a pair of TDs on only 15 passes, and also rushed for 43 yards and one score. 83 of Ennis' passing yards were hauled in by Bryant Moon, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.

West Point didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Maddox Chapman and Julio Fuentes. Chapman is also crushing it when it comes to defended passes: he's defended at least one every time he's taken the field this season.
Meanwhile, after only seven points in their last contest, Priceville made sure to put some points up on the board against East Limestone last Friday. The Bulldogs blew past the Indians 31-6. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama football rankings (they are ranked 126th, while the Indians are ranked 262nd) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.
West Point better keep an eye on Sheldon Graham. He was instrumental in Priceville's win, rushing for 79 yards on only seven carries. Graham also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, forcing one fumble and making four total tackles.
Priceville was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 272 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as East Limestone only rushed for 101.
West Point now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Priceville, their record now sits at 4-1.
Friday's game might be decided on the ground. West Point has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 232.4 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Priceville struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 314.4 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's matchup turns into a tough fight on the ground.
West Point was able to grind out a solid victory over Priceville when the teams last played back in October of 2024, winning 28-21. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
