Clearwater had already won eight in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.4 runs) and they went ahead and made it nine on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Bernie Mules. The Fightin' Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 15 matchups by six runs or more this season.

Clearwater's victory bumped their record up to 20-3. As for Bernie, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 22-6.

Clearwater didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 6-5 win against Neelyville on the 26th. As for Bernie, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Delta at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
