Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Blanco Panthers walked away with it. They breezed by London on the road to the tune of 55-24. Blanco's offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.
Cameron Anderson had a dynamite game for Blanco, rushing for 90 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries, while also throwing for 177 yards and three touchdowns while completing 77.8% of his passes. Anderson is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last three games he's played. Tyler Dixon was in the mix as well, providing Blanco with two touchdowns.
The win (which was Blanco's sixth in a row) raised their record to 10-2. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.3 points per game. As for London, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-5.
Blanco will be playing at home against Goliad at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. Goliad is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. London does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
