Gorham had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They walked away with a 7-4 victory over the Groveton Eagles on Saturday. The Huskies haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Gorham's victory bumped their record up to 17-5. As for Groveton, their loss dropped their record down to 12-10.

Coming up, Gorham will challenge Epping on Wednesday. The Blue Devils will roll in looking for their 19th straight win, something the Huskies surely won't give up without a fight. Groveton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
