Michigan School for the Deaf has not had much luck with the Lions recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
Jeremy Boillat was his usual excellent self, shooting 4-for-9 from deep and dropping a double-double on 38 points and 20 rebounds for CenterPoint Christian Academy. Boillat has been hot recently, having posted 17 or more points the last nine times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Grayson Turvey, who scored eight points.
Michigan School for the Deaf's loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-11. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 21.2 points per game. As for CenterPoint Christian Academy, their win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-6.
