Cromwell is 10-0 against McGregor since December of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Cromwell Cardinals will head out on the road to face off against the McGregor Mercuries at 7:15 p.m. Cromwell will be strutting in after a victory while McGregor will be coming in after a loss.
Cromwell waltzed into Monday's matchup with two straight wins but they left with three. They took their game on the road with ease, bagging a 89-36 win over Barnum.
Cromwell's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Isabella Anderson, who scored 24 points along with 6 rebounds and 4 steals. Anderson is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Jill Anderson was another key contributor, scoring 23 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 blocks.
Meanwhile, McGregor ended up a good deal behind Hill City/Northland on Monday and lost 60-46. McGregor has struggled against Hill City/Northland recently, as their contest on Monday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Cromwell's victory lifted them to 3-0 while Barnum's defeat dropped them down to 0-2.
