On Wednesday Bailey Hill pitched three innings while giving up three earned runs off only two hits. The performance marked the fewest hits Hill has had since back in March. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was her fourth in a row with less than two walks. On the year, she has an ERA of 6.45 over 51 innings pitched.

Coming up, Hill and Nelson will look to defend their home field on Friday against Reynolds at 5:00 p.m. The last time Hill duked it out with Reynolds (back in April of 2024), Nelson came out on top by a score of 16-6.
