Jacob Newborn Goes Supernova in Pusch Ridge Christian Academy Win
Starting off the list is Pusch Ridge Christian Academy's Jacob Newborn, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Newborn threw for 287 yards and three touchdowns while completing 78.9% of his passes, and also rushed for 63 yards and a touchdown on only six carries.

Sadly, Julian Aragon posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Morenci over Safford on Friday. Aragon rushed for 209 yards and a touchdown while picking up 10.0 yards per carry. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (116.7).
Morenci is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4. A feisty cat fight will be fought when Wildcats challenges Pusch Ridge Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Zachari Haley Delivers Best Performance of Season
On Friday, Sabino had to settle for second even though Zachari Haley put up the best numbers he has all season. Haley rushed for 142 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.9 yards per carry. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (104.7). He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 72-yard run.
Sabino is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4. Haley and Sabino will head out on the road to take on Thatcher at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
