Doniphan-Trumbull added to the longest winning streak in C2 District 7 this week by beating St. Patrick's, 42-20. The victory was the 11th in a row for the Cardinals.
Doniphan-Trumbull took down the Irish 42-20 last week, the largest margin of any game. Jordan Slough ran for 135 yards and caught 2 passes for 81 yards during the win.
Brent Breckner's team's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Riley Wiltfong threw for 130 yards and Slough had 81 yards receiving. On the ground Slough chipped in 135 yards. Creighton Buhr helped Doniphan-Trumbull's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 49 yards.
Wiltfong put up the best numbers in passing as the Cardinals bested St. Patrick's.
Doniphan-Trumbull's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Cardinals feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Wiltfong has thrown for 1,532 yards and 16 touchdowns this season, while Slough has 19 catches for 458 yards.
Doniphan-Trumbull led the league in scoring this week after putting up 42 points on Kevin Dodson's team. Slough in the win.
