On Saturday, Covenant Christian came up short against China Spring and fell 44-32.
Covenant Christian's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Lucy Hahn, who scored 6 points along with 8 rebounds and 4 blocks. Another player making a difference was Keeley Chaddick, who scored 9 points along with 4 steals.
Covenant Christian now has a losing record at 7-8. As for China Spring, their victory bumped their record up to 3-10.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Covenant Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Alpha Omega Academy at 5:30 p.m. on December 21st. As for China Spring, they will be playing at home against Whitney at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
