Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Val Montes stepped things up a notch to give Northridge Academy the 'W'. Montes wasn't messing around, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases and one run. The contest was her fifth straight with at least one stolen base.

Montes and Northridge Academy will welcome Vaughn at 2:30 p.m. on Monday. The last time Montes duked it out with the White Tigers (back in April), the Pumas came out on top by a score of 25-3.
