Volleyball Recap: TEACH Homeschool Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory

TEACH Homeschool entered their tilt with Norfolk Christian on Thursday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Ambassadors. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in September.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant TEACH Homeschool was: they took every set by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-10, 25-15.

TEACH Homeschool was led to victory by Jacob McGlamery and Carter Flora. McGlamery had six digs and three aces, while Flora had 14 assists. Those three aces gave McGlamery a new career-high. Zach Daniels also deserves some recognition as he had his first block of the season.

They weren't the only good servers: TEACH Homeschool was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least 13 aces in four consecutive matches.

TEACH Homeschool's record now sits at 18-1. As for Norfolk Christian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-8 record this season.

TEACH Homeschool will take on Peninsula Catholic at 1:00 p.m. on the 18th. As for Norfolk Christian, they will welcome Phoebus at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
