In what's become a running theme this season, the Southwest Leadership Academy Rams gave their fans yet another huge win on Thursday. They blew past Western SciTech 57-23 on the road. The win was nothing new for Southwest Leadership Academy as they're now sitting on six straight.
It was another big night for Raja Williams, who scored 17 points along with nine rebounds and five steals. He is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Ayden Gonzales, who scored ten points along with six steals and five assists.
Southwest Leadership Academy's win bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Western SciTech, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Southwest Leadership Academy won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Alta Vista Charter at 6:30 p.m. on January 12th. Alta Vista Charter will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Arizona Rankings (they are ranked 224th, while Southwest Leadership Academy is ranked 82nd). As for Western SciTech, they will be playing at home against South Ridge at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
