Tintic has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will challenge the Altamont Longhorns at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Tintic focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 on Tuesday.
Last Tuesday, Tintic had to suffer through a rough 77-47 loss at the hands of Green River.
Luke Larsen put forth a good effort for the losing side as he scored 19 points. The matchup was his third in a row with at least ten points. Braylon Jones was another key contributor, scoring three points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Meanwhile, Altamont came up short against Duchesne last Wednesday and fell 60-48. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Altamont in their matchups with Duchesne: they've now lost four in a row.
Tintic's loss dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Altamont, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season.
Things could have been worse for Tintic, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 78-62 loss to Altamont in their previous matchup back in December of 2022. Can Tintic avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
