Softball Recap: Andover Wins Going Away Against Lowell

Andover won the last time they faced Lowell and things went their way on Friday too. The Golden Warriors were the clear victors by a 17-1 margin over the Red Raiders. The result was nothing new for the Golden Warriors, who have now won ten games by six runs or more so far this season.

Andover has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games. As for Lowell, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-8.

Coming up, Andover will be playing at home against Dracut at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Lowell, they will face off against North Andover at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday.
