They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-4 win over the Springtown Porcupines on Thursday. Jaylen Kaps spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and one unearned) runs on four hits and racked up 13 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season.
