Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Greenbrier). They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Kenwood Knights on Thursday. The victory was some much needed relief for Greenbrier as it spelled an end to their six-game losing streak.

William Kerr and Arjenn Cortez scored all three of Greenbrier's goals, bringing their combined season tally to six goals.

Greenbrier's win bumped their record up to 3-10. As for Kenwood, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-4 record this season.

Greenbrier will look to defend their home pitch on Friday against Pearl-Cohn at 5:00 p.m. Greenbrier will be up against Pearl-Cohn's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.8 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Kenwood, they will venture away from home to face off against Henry County at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Henry County will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Kenwood surely won't give up without a fight.
