The Dobie Longhorns won the last time they faced the Foster Falcons, and things went their way on Saturday too. Dobie walked away with a 57-48 victory over Foster.
When it comes to explaining why Foster lost, one person who can't be blamed is Jaron Martin. Despite the final result, he scored 6 points along with 8 assists and 3 blocks. Tory Brennan was another key contributor, scoring 7 points.
The win got Dobie back to even at 6-6. As for Foster, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-8.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dobie will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Cinco Ranch at 2:30 p.m. on December 2nd. Cinco Ranch presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Dobie in Texas (Cinco Ranch is ranked 144th, while Dobie is ranked 509th). As for Foster, they will head out on the road to face off against Friendswood at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Friendswood will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
