Southridge added to the longest winning streak in 6A Metro this week by beating Sunset, 27-10. The victory was the fifth in a row for the team.
Southridge was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from third to first in the league. The Skyhawks beat the Apollos 27-10 earlier in the week.
Westview's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Wildcats feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Austin Brisbee has thrown for 1,558 yards and 11 touchdowns this season, while Teagan Lind has 24 catches for 327 yards.
The most important game in the league this week will be the match up between Southridge and Jesuit. The Skyhawks comes into the matchup ranked sixth in the state, while the Crusaders ranks fourth.
Westview fell to Jesuit 50-17 last week, the largest margin of any game. Brisbee threw for 343 yards and 2 touchdowns in the defeat.
