Given their disadvantage in the MaxPreps state rankings, Tri-Central should expect quite the challenge on Friday. They take on Carroll at 7:00 PM. Tri-Central come in off of five low-scoring performances in a row, a trend the team is obviously eager to reverse.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 6-44, which was the final score in Tri-Central's tilt against Delphi Community last Friday. Tri-Central were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-21.
Meanwhile, Carroll suffered a grim 7-35 defeat to Fort Dodge. This makes it the second loss in a row for Carroll.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. Neither squad could put together much of an offensive attack, so expect every point to count.
