Dreher proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by six) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 17-15 win over the Lower Richland Diamond Hornets. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 16-10 on Tuesday.

Dreher's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Lower Richland, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Coming up, Dreher will face off against Camden at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Blue Devils' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Lower Richland, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 18-0 win against Columbia on the 9th.
