Despite the loss, The Pilgrim Academy saw an underclassman step up: freshman Addison Brittin went 5 of 12 en route to 12 points along with seven boards and three steals. Brittin is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last five games she's played.

Emmanuel Christian Academy pushed their record up to 3-0 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 18.3 points per game. As for The Pilgrim Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-8.
