The Peck Pirates entered their tilt with Landmark Academy with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Peck claimed a resounding 66-26 win over Landmark Academy at home. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Peck also won the last time the pair played back in January.
Peck found their leader in underclassman Thomas West, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 11 rebounds. The matchup was West's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Carsten Lieblang, who scored nine points along with seven rebounds and five assists.
Peck's win was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0. As for Landmark Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Peck has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Ubly at 8:30 p.m. on December 18th. Landmark Academy will be home for the holidays to greet Austin Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Austin Catholic and Landmark Academy are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads.
