Seb Cecunjanin continued his hot streak on Saturday by dropping his fifth-straight game with at least two steals. He went 13-for-25 on his way to 36 points in addition to seven rebounds and five steals. He was dominant the last time he took on Johnsburg Central back in January of 2024, so they probably should've seen this coming. That was a full 72% of Lake Placid's points, marking the eighth time in a row Cecunjanin has posted more than a third of the team's points.

Cecunjanin and Lake Placid will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Moriah at 6:00 p.m. on February 25th. The match will pit Cecunjanin up against the Vikings' star guard Cooper Allen. With these two excellent players competing for bragging rights, there's bound to be some exciting action on the court.
