The Cimarron Rams will challenge the Magdalena Steers at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. Cimarron has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the match with nine straight losses, while Magdalena will come in with 13 straight wins.

Cimarron saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Orion Ledoux, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one double. The Rams are 3-1 when Ledoux posts two or more runs, but 2-8 otherwise.
Meanwhile, Magdalena got the win against Logan on Monday by a conclusive 17-3. Considering the Steers have won 15 contests by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
Magdalena let Ayden Herschbach and Joseph Zamora run wild. Herschbach got on base in all four of his plate appearances with three runs, three RBI, and one triple, while Zamora got on base in four of his five plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. Another player making a difference was Javen Tafoya, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
Magdalena was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .429. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .345 or higher in 13 consecutive games.
Magdalena's victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-3. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.1 runs over those games. As for Cimarron, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-9.
Thursday's match will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Cimarron hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .338. However, it's not like Magdalena struggles in that department as they've averaged .400. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
