Lamont Odom and Tyrell Davis provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Troy. The connection went for 82 yards, the longest such play in San Gabriel Valley this season.
Paramount's Deonte Dixon recorded the longest rushing play in the league this season in his game against the Warriors last week. Dixon ran for 67 yards on the play and finished with 141 on the day as his team beat Troy.
Paramount's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Odom threw for 189 and one touchdown and Davis had 101 yards receiving. On the ground Alex Turner chipped in 169 yards. Devonte Dixon helped Paramount's passing attack out by catching two balls for 32 yards.
Gahr's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Gladiators feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Caleb Baumann has thrown for 1548 yards and 13 touchdowns this season, while Christian Pabico has 25 catches for 497 yards. Alex Kline leads the league in rushing with 696 yards.
The top two teams in San Gabriel Valley will face off this week when first place Paramount takes on second place Gahr. Matt Howard's team defeated Kevin Hastin's team last week, while Gahr.
There should be lots of points scored when the Gladiators and the Pirates face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, Gahr comes in having scored 170 this season, while Paramount has scored 219.
The Pirates extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating the Warriors, 42-35. The victory was the fourth in a row for the team.
