The Frostproof Bulldogs will head out on the road to face off against the Victory Christian Academy Storm at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
Frostproof is headed into Friday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their seventh straight game dating back to last season on Thursday. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 5-2 to Four Corners, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.
Frostproof got a good showing from Edusbel Guardado, who tossed four innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits.

At the plate, Ricky Wilson made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with two triples and one run. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in hits (three). Luke Thornton was another key player, scoring a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
Meanwhile, everything went Victory Christian Academy's way against Davenport on Thursday as Victory Christian Academy made off with a 10-2 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Storm.
Landon Cuzzone made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched 1.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Cuzzone was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.
In other pitching news, Micah Broton looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and only two hits over four innings pitched.
Back at the plate, Collin Strickland was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Aiden Flannery, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two RBI and one double.
Frostproof's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Victory Christian Academy, their record is now 2-0.
Everything went Frostproof's way against Victory Christian Academy when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as Frostproof made off with a 9-1 victory.
