The Meadows School Mustangs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight loss. They fell 79-66 to Lutheran. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
When it comes to explaining why The Meadows School lost, one person who can't be blamed is Cyrus Hutchison. Despite the final result, he scored 30 points. Hutchison scored a full 45.5% of The Meadows School's points, the fifth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Grant Moses was another key contributor, scoring 10 points.
The Meadows School has fallen quite a ways from their 24-5 record last season and are now at 1-4. As for Lutheran, their victory bumped their record up to 1-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. The Meadows School will face off against Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Lutheran's road trip will continue as they head out to face Legend at 7:00 p.m. on December 6th.
