Davenport has gone a perfect 3-0 against Fredericksburg recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Wolves will take on the Billies at 7:00 p.m. Davenport knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 31 points or more in their past six contests -- so hopefully Fredericksburg likes a good challenge.
Davenport's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They breezed past John F. Kennedy to the tune of 57-0. Considering the Wolves have won five matchups by more than 37 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

It was another big night for Barrett Fallon, who rushed for 111 yards and three scores on only six carries. He is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in each of the last eight games he's played dating back to last season. Zayden Garza was another key player, gaining 138 total yards and two touchdowns.
Special teams also deserves some recognition, posting 13 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Caden Scott, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Fredericksburg lost to Canyon Lake on the road by a 42-28 margin on Friday. While the Billies had to settle for second, they closed the game well in the third quarter, where they outscored the Hawks 7-0.
Despite the loss, Fredericksburg saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Kress Mohr threw for 238 yards and a pair of TDs, and also punched in one touchdown on the ground. Austin Greene got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Davenport pushed their record up to 6-0 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 4.3 points on average over those games. As for Fredericksburg, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Friday's contest: Davenport has been on an offensive roll this season, having averaged 457.8 total yards per game. It's a different story for Fredericksburg, though, as they've been averaging only 249.7 total yards. Will Davenport be able to march up the field at their leisure again, or will the Billies flip the script?
Davenport strolled past Fredericksburg when the teams last played back in October of 2024 by a score of 35-17. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Billies' Brooks Immel, who rushed for 74 yards and one score on only six carries, and also threw for 96 yards and one touchdown. Now that he won't be playing on Friday, will it be easier for the Wolves to walk away with another win? There's only one way to find out.
