Clearwater won against Risco on Saturday with 14 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Saturday. The Fightin' Tigers beat the Portageville Bulldogs by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 14-1. The result was nothing new for the Fightin' Tigers, who have now won seven matches by 13 runs or more so far this season.

Clearwater's win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-2. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.5 runs on average over those games. As for Portageville, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.
