The Elkins Elks will head out on the road to face off against the Central Arkansas Christian Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Elkins comes in on 12 and Central Arkansas Christian on three.
Elkins extended their postseason success on Friday against Monticello. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Billies 56-6 on the road. Fans of Elkins have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season ended as a blowout.
It was another big night for Da' Shawn Chairs, who rushed for 167 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.4 yards per carry, and also caught a touchdown. Chairs hasn't dropped below two rushing touchdowns for four straight games. James Townsend was in the mix too, providing Elkins with two touchdowns.
Meanwhile, even though Nashville scored an imposing 50 points on Friday, Central Arkansas Christian still came out on top. Central Arkansas Christian walked away with a 59-50 win over Nashville.
Their wins bumped Elkins to 12-0 and Monticello to 8-4.
