Ryland Bradford Earns League's Top Spot
Starting off the list is Abilene's Ryland Bradford, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Bradford's receiving production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 113 receiving yards. He showed off some serious burst, cutting upfield on a catch for 69 yards.
The victory (which was Abilene's fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-2. Bradford will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant effort when he faces off against Tascosa on Friday.

On Thursday, Abilene got the W thanks in part to Ethan Joyner playing the best football he has all season. Joyner's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 116 rushing yards.
This year, Joyner has run in 9 touchdowns while averaging 94.4 rushing yards per game.

Demarion Finch Goes Supernova in Coronado Win
Demarion Finch helped snap Coronado's six-game losing streak. Caprock had no answer to Finch on Friday as he rushed for 112 yards and three touchdowns, and also picked up 48 receiving yards. That's the most rushing yards Finch has posted since back in August.
For the year, Finch has averaged 34.5 receiving yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he had four rushing touchdowns. This year he is already up to seven.

Tristan Beal produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Abilene to the win on Thursday. Beal threw for 340 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 11.0 yards per attempt.
For the year, Beal has thrown 11 touchdowns (and no picks) while averaging 122 passing yards per game.

Xavier Vargas Has Career Rushing Day
Caprock came up short on Friday despite Xavier Vargas delivering his best game to date. Vargas rushed for 179 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.8 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 61 yards.
Caprock is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6. Vargas and Caprock will host Lubbock at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
