Bethel Christian Academy is  a perfect 3-0 against Wilmington Christian Academy since April of 2024 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday.  Emersyn Smith and  Suzanne Rouse made a big impact no matter where they played. Throwing,  Smith   pitched one inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Meanwhile,  Rouse   tossed three innings while giving up just two earned  (and two unearned) runs off   three  hits. At bat,  Smith  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-3, while  Rouse  went 3-for-4 with six  RBI, two  runs,  and one  triple. Those  six  RBI gave  Rouse a new career-high.
 In other batting news,  Emma Ingram was  excellent,  scoring two  runs and  stealing two bases while  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances. Those  two  stolen bases gave  her a new career-high.  Emma Donoho also deserves some recognition as  she  got her first  hit of the season.
 Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for Wilmington Christian Academy's offense. They came up short against  Wilson Christian Academy last Monday, falling  14-0. The  defeat   continues a  trend for the Patriots in their meetings with the Chargers: they've now lost three in a row.
 Wilmington Christian Academy now  has a losing record of 2-3-1. As for Bethel Christian Academy, their record now sits at 7-4.
 Everything went Bethel Christian Academy's way against Wilmington Christian Academy in their previous matchup  back in March, as Bethel Christian Academy made off with  a  16-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Trojans since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
