Van Vleck's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Brazoswood, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season.
Van Vleck will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Calhoun at 9:30 a.m. on December 1st. Calhoun will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 1033rd, while Van Vleck is ranked 453rd). As for Brazoswood, they will square off against Brazosport at 8:00 a.m. on Friday. One thing working in Brazosport's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last five matchups.
