The Cameron Comets came tearing into Tuesday's match with nine straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 23.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They blew past Cadott 78-53. Cameron has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matches by 21 points or more this season.
Despite the loss, Cadott still got an impressive performance from Kasey Moldrem, who scored six points along with three steals.
Cameron pushed their record up to 13-4 with that victory, which was their seventh straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.4 points per game. As for Cadott, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-10 record this season.
Cameron has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome the Lumberjacks at 7:00 p.m. on February 1st. Ladysmith is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak. As for Cadott, they will head out on the road to face off against the Ramblers at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Regis presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Hornets in Wisconsin (the Ramblers are ranked 86th, while the Hornets are ranked 236th).
