The Glen Allen Jaguars pushed their score all the way to 60 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 66-60 hit to the loss column at the hands of Hermitage. Glen Allen has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
When it comes to explaining why Glen Allen lost, one person who can't be blamed is Tyson Granderson. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Granderson has scored all season. Faron Friend was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with five rebounds and two blocks.
Glen Allen dropped their record down to 10-10 with that defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Hermitage, their victory bumped their record up to 13-6.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Glen Allen will take on the Justices at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. John Marshall will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak. As for Hermitage, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
