The King Wolves will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against the Santiago Sharks at 7:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.
King's seven-game losing streak came to an end on Friday. They came out on top against Norco by a score of 85-74.
King's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Justin Brayard, who scored 23 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Brayard has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Mathias Tinker, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 13 rebounds.
Santiago posted their closest win since December 20, 2023 on Friday. They skirted past Corona 68-65. The win was just what Santiago needed coming off of a 74-40 loss in their prior game.
King's victory bumped their record up to 10-16. As for Santiago, the win got them back to even at 13-13.
King strolled past Santiago in their previous matchup back in February of 2023 by a score of 80-65. Will King repeat their success, or does Santiago have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
