The Dillon Wildcats scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They came out on top against Laurence Manning Academy by a score of 74-65. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Dillon found their leader in underclassman Zamaurious Robertson, who scored 27 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacob Hunt, who scored 11 points.
The win makes it two in a row for Dillon and bumps their season record up to 4-4. As for Laurence Manning Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-4.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dillon and Hartsville will face off at 6:00 p.m. on December 29th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Laurence Manning Academy won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Timberland at 1:30 p.m. on December 29th. Timberland comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
