Treasure Coast walked away with a 22-10 victory over Vero Beach on Saturday. For Treasure Coast, this counts as revenge for the 10-7 defeat Vero Beach walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2022.
Treasure Coast's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but George Roberts led the charge by gaining 95 total yards and two touchdowns. Jamison Davis was another key contributor, rushing for 120 yards.
Treasure Coast's victory was their sixth straight at home (dating back to last season), which pushed their record up to 7-2. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 33.2 points per game. As for Vero Beach, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Treasure Coast will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Osceola at 7:00 p.m. on November 10th. Osceola will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings (they are ranked 99th, while Treasure Coast is ranked 16th). As for Vero Beach, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Columbia at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Columbia will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
