This past weekend of high school football saw no shortage of insane statistical performances. We are highlighting some of those in the latest edition of Stat Freaks of the Week.
Defensive end
T.J. Burkhalter Jr. of
Klein Forest (Houston) tops the list after getting to the quarterback at will in a 24-17 win over Humble on Thursday.
The 6-foot-1, 208-pound sophomore recorded seven sacks, 12 tackles and forced a fumble.
"I just tried to use my speed to my advantage to get around the O-line and make plays for my team and help us get the win," Buckhalter said.
Isaiah Marshall of
Southfield Arts & Tech (Southfield, Mich.) also deserves mention after flinging the football more than 400 yards and gaining an additional 235 yards on the ground in a 62-56 loss. The three-star junior prospect has several offers that include Michigan, Cincinnati and Mississippi.

Junior quarterback Isaiah Marshall of Southfield Arts & Tech in Michigan made the list by piling up over 600 passing and rushing yards.
