The Oak Ridge Trojans will challenge the Whitney Wildcats at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Oak Ridge comes in on five and Whitney on seven.
Oak Ridge is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They never let Inderkum get on the board and left with a 4-0 victory.

| 02/23/26 vs Del Campo | 2 |
| 04/29/26 vs Davis Sr. | 2 |
| 03/18/26 vs Rocklin | 3 |
| 03/23/26 vs Elk Grove | 3 |
Not much got past Kennedi Freeland, who gave up just three hits and racked up 12 Ks to keep Inderkum off the board. Those 12 strikeouts set a new season-high mark for Freeland.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Brooklyn Paratore, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March.
Meanwhile, Whitney's rock-solid pitchers showed up for the team's third consecutive shutout on Friday. They put the hurt on McClatchy with a sharp 9-0 win. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matchups by six runs or more this season.
Whitney also got a great performance from Taylor Cordell as she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. Cordell has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Sidney Kleiner was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. Lulu Im was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double.
Oak Ridge's record is now 14-10. As for Whitney, their record now sits at 22-8.
Oak Ridge came out on top in a nail-biter against Whitney in their previous meeting back in April, sneaking past 3-1. Will the Trojans repeat their success, or do the Wildcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
