It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Minooka had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 9-1 margin over the Plainfield South Cougars. Considering the Indians have won 17 contests by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory was the tenth in a row for Minooka, bringing their record up to 33-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.2 runs over those games. As for Plainfield South, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 16-17.

As of now, neither Minooka nor the Cougars have any future games scheduled.
