The Milford Scarlet Hawks will head out on the road to take on the Archbishop Williams Bishops at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday. Archbishop Williams took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Milford, who comes in off a win.
Even though King Philip Regional scored an imposing 65 points on Thursday, Milford still came out on top. Milford took their contest against King Philip Regional 78-65. The win made it back-to-back wins for Milford.
Milford got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Andrew Rivera out in front who dropped a double-double on 23 points and ten rebounds. Rivera is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down nine or more in the last five games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of CJ Farrell, who scored 22 points.
Meanwhile, Archbishop Williams ended up a good deal behind Westwood on Monday and lost 66-50. While losing is never fun, Archbishop Williams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts basketball rankings (they are ranked 213th, while Westwood is ranked 13th).
Milford is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 9-8 record this season. As for Archbishop Williams, their loss dropped their record down to 2-8.
