After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Crescenta Valley, Mark Keppel was happy to have turned things around  on Tuesday. They blew past the Montebello Oilers 14-4. The Aztecs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight contests by seven  runs or more this season.
 Robyn Guitron made a splash while hitting and pitching. She  pitched one inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. She has been consistent : she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in five consecutive appearances. She was even better at the plate,  going 2-for-3 with three  RBI, one  triple,  and one  run. That  triple was  her first of the season.
 In other batting news, Mark Keppel got a  massive  performance out of  Lauren Young, who  went 3-for-4 with two  runs, one  triple,  and one  stolen base. That's the most  hits  Young has posted since back in February. Another player making a difference was  Sarah Lucero, who  scored three  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in all five of her plate appearances.
 Mark Keppel was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .613. They are  a perfect 8-0 when  they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Mark Keppel pushed their record up to 11-4 with the  win, which was their third straight  on the road. Those  road  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for Montebello,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 3-12.
